Exploring the dintorns - Dublin's bay, low and high tides, monastic sites of Ireland - faccio la turista, insomma!

 

April was a month full of moving - I changed three countries in couple of weeks - Italy, Lithuania and Ireland, where I live now. Every change brings something new and interesting to discover.

 

Last month in Milan. Lots of goodbyes to say, lots of photos for the memory to take.

 

Two cities of fashion. Two different stories. Couldn't keep myself out from tempation of black&white.

 

Couldn't stop looking at the world through my photocamera. I present you my Italian january album.

 

The year has ended and the month of holidays passed very quickly. Some of the moments are still alive in the photos...

 

November was a month when I started to see everything in black and white.

 

As you can see from the photos, my life has changed - the biggest part of my week I spend in Milan where I'm working now. During the weekdays my fotocamera is left at home and only on the weekends I take it out - in this period more than ever I need the therapy of photography.

 

The start of new study year, the first signs of autumn, still in Italy - september was a very good month for me.

My summer vacations back home in Lithuania. Even it was a rainy month I happened to enjoy it a lot. Had a better look at the garden life so the macro photos and photos made at home prevail. However, I can still smell the freshness of mild Lithuanian summer...

July was hot. And my photos are made mainly inside, hanging out with my university friends or visiting some cool place like monastery. Maybe you will notice that this time I photographed lots of people. Yes, I'm changed. A bit.

How quickly this first month of summer has passed here in Pavia.. Maybe because I had my vacations in Corsica (yeah!) and didn't notice the time passing. So here we go - some pics from June.

On the 1st of June I am just in time to upload my May album of photo diary. This month was really great - full of colours, flowers and some expeditions like the one to national park of Gargano in Puglia. Enjoy it!

Finally I got some time and Internet to post my April album where you'll see the photos of my everyday life in Pavia, the place where I study at the university.

 

This month is a different one - I didn't take that much of photos as I was changing my home and changing my life. However, I prepared this album from some of the shots I made in March - album talking about spring breathing and freedom of spirit..

It was the first time in my life that I went to the famous Lithuanian resort on the Baltic sea (imagine, that the biggest part of my life I have passed just 50 km away from it, isn't it ridiculous?!). I found it very nice. And here are some photos from my visit there...

Was supposed to be a part of landscape, but came out as a separate collection speaking about human touch on the Earth face.

It's not so simple to make a beautiful and visibly correct panoramic photo, but here are some of them.

This project is a special one for me. Here you will find some sequences (of time, of place, of subjects acting or objects represented) of photos that were made one after another. No strict rules for adding several photos together, just my intuition...
